Why JFG?

Thank you for taking a look at the Just for Girls tournaments.

We understand that teams like yours put a whole lot of time, energy, planning, coordinating and resources
into tournament weekends. And, we understand that your team has lots of options when it comes
to choosing the tournaments that will give your players and their families a great experience.
So, we've put together this (very biased) list. We hope you'll give us a
chance, and, after a fun JFG weekend with us, we hope you'll agree with...

1. Challenging competition
With multiple divisions at most age groups, our goal is to provide your teams with the opportunity
to match up with the kind of opponents that will make this a great experience on the field.
2. Outstanding fields
Cownie Soccer Park's 12 grass fields are among the best in the Midwest.
3. User-friendly
We work hard to ensure our tournaments put customers first.
4. Reputation
Year in and year out, the JFG spring and fall events rank well on GotSoccer.com.
This is a reflection of the high level of competition, highlighted by some of the region's top clubs and top teams.
5. Your voice counts
Our staff values and listens to your feedback, including the input of coaches and managers
in the process of creating the brackets and schedules.
6. Fun destination
With a metro population of more than 500,000, Des Moines is a welcoming, easy-to-get-around community
with plenty of options for dining, shopping, lodging and entertainment.

7. Hotel services
Our partners at PackYourBoots will take care of your team's hotel needs, based on your requests.

8. Professionally organized
As Iowa's Soccer Leader, the Menace organization takes pride in continually working to improve your tournament
experience. Fielding the state's premier men's AND women's teams, the Menace has a passion for growing soccer.

9. The ponytail soccer ball
A fun event, a fun brand, and a fun logo. The JFG ponytail-soccer-ball logo is world-famous (in the world
of girls soccer in the Midwest). When you see a girl wearing a hoodie or t-shirt with this famous logo,
you know she's sporting a custom-printed memory from a good experience with her friends and family.

10. Proud tradition
The Just for Girls Tournament goes all the way back to the spring of 1993; The JFG Fall Invite
debuted in 2006. These tournaments have been around so long, that we often hear from coaches
who have fond memories of playing in JFG events back in their club-soccer days.

Thanks for being part of the JFG tradition!
